At the end of round 8, 30 contestants advanced to rounds 9-10 with a cumulative score of 20. Two of those contestants were tied for 30th place. One of those contestants advanced. To advance, that contestant needed one first place rank.

Akexa: You looked smashing on Friday afternoon/eve. I was very disappointed to learn that I could have watched your performance on Thursday eve via the live connect capabilities. Congratulations for being successful at the Nationals. You were very responsive to your competitor who took home that trophy. Yours will be added to the many you have!!! Happiness is being “graduated” and headed to GM…You’ll do good.
